Job Description

Provide safe and educational outdoor learning opportunities to the Mississippi State University community.

Responsibilities & Duties (*not limited to)

  1. Manage sales and rentals for the Outdoor Adventures Rental Center
  2. Develop trip and clinic itineraries
  3. Manage the climbing wall
  4. Conduct clinics and trip meetings
  5. Plan and lead trips for MSU students, faculty, and staff

Qualifications

To qualify as an MSU University Recreation Outdoor Adventures Staff Member , you must:

  1. Have or be able to obtain American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  2. Have or be able to obtain American Red Cross Wilderness Remote First Aid certification.
  3. Have exceptional leadership skills
  4. Have exceptional communication skills
